Warm hellos to everyone!

A number of months ago I wrote a THOT on the fact that being a chiropractor
grants you immediate membership in the current health care war. For those
of you who are a bit unsure of what I am referring to, you must have slept
you way thorough Chiropractic college. The war I am referring to is being
waged in your office on a daily basis. There are plenty of victims and
casualties are high - yet not enough is done about it. For those who still
are not with me, let me clue you in - it is a war for the almighty dollar.
A war of organized medicine and the pharmaceutical cartel against anyone
who does not tow their line.
That includes Chiropractic - there's a surprise!

It also involves any practitioner who does not agree with the medical model
and its approach to health: The fact that people possess too many organs
and that they lack toxic chemicals in their bodies. This war has absolutely
nothing at all to do with health. It has everything to do with supremacy over
the public purse. And it is cleverly disguised as seeking better health care
for the public. So laws are quietly enacted and passed and the consumer
is not even aware that there is a war being waged and that he is the primary target.

In Canada, there is a law quietly being passed that will limit holistic practitioners
from carrying out their mission without the express permission of an MD, or being
able to practice Energy healing, and/or kinesiology, and/or recommend natural
substances, vitamins and/or products, unless one is strictly regulated by
the government.

In the US, the FDA is attempting the same thing:
On April 30, 2007 the FDA will close the public comment period on a "Guidance"
which will classify every alternative practice as medicine, so that only licensed
physicians can carry out the procedure AND vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.,
will suddenly become "untested drugs" which will be forbidden.
The only thing which will stop this insanity is a public outcry. The public has the
power to stop this assault on their health and their freedom.
So...I urge to you to spread the word!  Call everyone in your Circle of Influence,
professionals, alternative practitioners, nutrient and herb companies, everyone! 
Let them know how important their participation is to make sure the FDA backs

Tell your government representative that you will not go quietly into the night.
That this will NOT take place. Involve all your patients. Ask them to contact their
government rep - nothing works better than public pressure and accountability.

You and your patients do not want to lose the right to choose the type of care
they want.
Please do not even remotely consider sitting on the sidelines and minding
your own business.

I have news for you: This is your business!
This is your life and the life of those in your community.
